Please Note: we do not do C-41 B&W process anymore
| All films are processed in a Jobo ATL-2000. This rotary-tube processor is justly famous for being totally scratch free and squeaky clean. Nothing touches the film except filtered water, chemistry, and air. The temperature is controlled to within 1 tenth of a degree throughout the whole process, and the timing is controlled to the second. The ability to use different developers and control the agitation makes this processor unique. You have the control of hand developing and the precise time and temperature control of automation which makes for very consistent, repeatable results. |

You have your choice of four different developers for standard continuous tone Black & White films. We use Kodak T-Max RS, Kodak D-76, Kodak Xtol, and Ilford Ilfotech DD. For non-standard films we use the manufacturers recommended chemistry. If you do not ask for a specific developer we will choose the appropriate one. Chemistry is used on a 'one shot' basis, and all films are fixed and washed to archival standards. |
